Sunday night, I closed our garage door and heard a loud pop. Our coiled springs broke and we were unable to “manually” lift our door to get our car out. We called Varney Door Co. @ 8am on Monday to have our springs replaced and get our garage door working again. Initially they said it might be Thursday before someone could come out to help us- but when I said that the springs were broken and the door wouldn’t budge- she sent out a crew within the hour to get things fixed and have our garage door working in good fashion. ** Spray your fastener connections on your garage door and your coiled springs with silicone or WD-40 every 6 months to keep your garage door working and and in good shape. Okay, I’ll admit it. I embarrassingly backed into my garage door…thrice. Varney Door makes learning my lesson difficult. Service through Varney Door is too convenient for my own good. A quick “oops, I did it again” call to Alexea at Varney & the healing begins. The replacement panels are ordered and a service date for repair is scheduled. Alexea keeps me in the loop and informed about each step in the process. On the scheduled day of repair Cody arrives and is totally self-sufficient. This most recent door repair took about a third of the time that I estimated it would take two workers to complete. Cody rocks and my garage doors again match. Cody left me impressed and happy, but Varney Door did not consider the job complete until the following day when Alexea phoned to make sure all was completed to satisfaction. For an analog man living in an AI world my greatest satisfaction with Varney Door is an ability to interact with real people who take pride in their work and who genuinely care about the customers they serve. With that being said, as much as I trust Varney’s product & people, I hope three times is the charm and that I will not ding the dang garage door again. But if the door is dinged again it is reassuring that Varney Doors is just a quick call or click away from VIP service. Thank you Alexea, Cody, and Varney Doors for another job well done!
